Rules for using SchemaFX websites, hosted services, and related offerings.

1) About these terms

These Terms govern your use of:

  • The SchemaFX website and docs.

  • Any related support channels.

If you self-host SchemaFX, your deployment is your responsibility. Third-party infrastructure terms also apply.

  • Upload malware.

Open-source and self-hosting

SchemaFX includes open-source components. Those components are licensed under their own licenses.

Your hosted service use is governed by these Terms. Your self-hosted use is governed by the applicable open-source license.

6) Your content

“Your Content” includes schemas, data, files, and text you submit.

You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited license to host and process it to provide the service.

You are responsible for:

  • Having rights to upload Your Content.

  • The legality of Your Content.

  • Backups unless we explicitly provide them.

7) Our content and intellectual property

We own the service, branding, and original documentation content.

You may not copy or resell the service without permission. Normal use, screenshots, and internal docs are fine.

8) Paid plans (if applicable)

If you buy a paid plan:

  • Prices, billing periods, and taxes are shown at checkout.

  • Payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

State your refund policy if you have one.

9) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy applies to personal data.

10) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You materially breach these Terms.

  • Your use risks harm to others or to the service.

  • We are required by law.

When feasible, we will provide notice. We will consider less restrictive measures first.

11) Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. We disclaim warranties to the extent allowed by law.

We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

You may need different limits for consumers.

13) Indemnification

If your use causes claims against us, you agree to indemnify us. This includes claims based on Your Content or your breach of these Terms.
